CCPCRE Industry Education - Creating Opportunity with Commercial Real Estate Industry

March 7, 2023 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM (MST)

Description

Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Edmonton is honoured to host Chief Tony Alexis of the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation as our first guest speaker to launch the Creating Career Pathways in Commercial Real Estate (CCPCRE) industry education series.

CCPCRE is an Indigenous designed- and -led initiative project by partners Oteenow Employment and Training Society (OET), Tribal Chiefs Employment and Training Services Association (TCETSA), and BOMA Edmonton. The project builds capacity for Indigenous inclusion in the commercial real estate industry.

Chief Alexis will speak to commercial property owners and managers about how First Nations people are on a path of building success in business and are looking for opportunities to create wealth in real estate. He is interested in building a strong relationship with BOMA and its members, and he has ideas about how to realize success in commercial real estate together. Chief Alexis will share his knowledge and will discuss how to leverage their Nations’ strengths to develop positive business opportunities.

This is a special session offered to BOMA members and non-members. Space is limited.
